Your Invitation
The most important thing we have to offer is an invitation to experience new life in Christ. In the Bible we learn that God gives new life to any person who trusts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. A trusting personal relationship with Jesus is all that is needed to be a Christian. We invite you to read "How to Become a Christian."

Who are we as a Local Church?
(pastel sketch by Gary Means from the 125th Year Anniversary Banquet. Click to enlarge)
We just celebrated our 125th Anniversary.
The first church began in Lawrenceville, just a few miles from downtown Pittsburgh. It began as the Swedish Congregational Church.
In 1947, the church moved to the corner of N. Highland and Stanton Aves.
In 1962, the church moved to Allison Park. Meeting in a house first, the present church building was constructed in 1967.
A new addition was added in 1997.
Here are photos of the former location as well as select photos from the past. (click on a photo to enlarge)
Also, here are the the 3 last pastors of Stoneridge: Dan Johnson (79-85), John DeLancey (99-present), Rob Satterberg (86-98).
