True or False? God has a plan for your life? It’s always good to have a plan in life. Without a plan, one can be terribly lost or confused. In almost every walk of life, a plan is needed, whether we are parents, coaches, architects & builders, teachers, surgeons, or janitors. To plan is to take action. To go about the challenges of life without a plan can be very intimidating. In answering our primary question, “True or false? God has a plan for your life,” the wonderful “Good News” about God is that He does have a plan for us! While the question deserves a “True” answer, unfortunately there are many people who aimlessly travel down life’s pathway not being aware of this. They tragically pursue life and tackle all of it’s challenges void of realizing that God has a specific plan for them. This is all the more important to appreciate especially when it seems as though the trials of life are too touch to handle. People can even feel as though they are “victims of fate” as if to believe that God only watches from a distance and doesn’t get involved in helping us or caring for us at all.The wonderful news is that God is in the business of fulfilling His purpose in us! To understand that God, the Creator of the universe, has a plan for each person. To our amazement, His plan even included sending His Son, Jesus, to this world, to offer His life for us personally. We call this God’s “redemptive plan,” a plan that guarantees us direction and hope as we act upon God’s invitation to us to entrust our life to His plan. Indeed, that includes yielding on our part as well as trusting. That’s why we can rejoice in the Biblical truth, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6,7). Knowing and trusting in God’s plan for our life leads to a life of peace! We may not know what happen to us tomorrow or the next day, or the next week, but God does. Knowing God personally can take the anxiety out of life. Knowing He has a plan for us is what gives us purpose! So friends, take joy in the fact that God has a specific plan to your life! Entrust your life into the hands of a God who is not distant, but caring; not aloof, but understanding, not judgmental, but loving. His peace awaits you.If we can be of further encouragement to you or if you would like to speak to anyone personally, give us a call (412-486-7778) or email us today.
